Proceedings and Graduate Paper Awards
As a graduate conference, we are heavily invested in supporting and encouraging student research. To that end, we are encouraging conference participants to submit full manuscripts of their work to be considered for our proceedings and graduate student paper awards. This award includes a monetary prize of $100 and a preferred place in the published conference proceedings (with appropriate edits and revisions, as necessary, following peer-review).
This year, thanks to generous support from our sponsors, we are able to honor three graduate papers, one in each of the disciplines represented in the conference:
Linguistics, Literature, and Second Language Studies. You will indicate your discipline on the Google Form during the submission process.
How to Apply
In order to be considered for our graduate paper awards, attending presenters should submit a full manuscript pertaining to their presentation topic. Submissions should:

Include a full, titled manuscript (5,000-6,000 words, not including references) with no identifying information (name, institution) on the paper.

Be saved as a .pdf or .docx (Word document) file.

Include a cover page as a separate document stating: paper title, author(s) names and affiliated institution(s), keywords, and abstract.

Be submitted no later than Feb. 19th (end of the day).
Submissions can be made through the Google Form for Paper Award Submissions.
Awards will be announced at the conference banquet on Saturday, March 2nd. All registered presenters are able to attend the banquet at no extra cost. Additional tickets will be available for purchase prior to the conference.
Please note: You do not need to submit to the Graduate Paper Awards to be considered for the conference proceedings. A call for submissions for the proceedings will follow the conference in March.
